Resort and Spa

Construction starts during the winter 2008/2009 on the new Spa and Leisure Centre at Etang Vallier. The private club will be over 1000m²and will include: indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room in the waterarea. There will also be a wellness centre featuring a fitness room, meditation space and massage and treatment rooms. For families and the sports minded, we are also including a squash court, games room and snack bar with a terrace leading out to the beach and minigolf areas. At least the 1st phase of construction is expected to be completed for summer 2009!

Restaurant Bar Quai Sud

Brossac Lake RestaurantThe Quai Sud Restaurant and bar are highlights of the Resort. The restaurant boast a large terrace with sweeping views of the lake. Sit in the sun or choose the shade of the covered terrace and observe the goings on at the beach and minigolf. Quai Sud operates from April through October every year. The specialties of the house include Ribbs and Tapas. The traditional french menu has a definite cuban influence. For a flaming end to your evening ask Fabrice or Sandy for a "Cucharacha".

On site activites are managed by the reception staff, but are run by a lot of local partners- sports clubs, local artists, nature clubs, even the department of the Charente. These partners are part of what ensure your holiday really lets you see France!

Special Events at the Etang Vallier Lakeside Resort

Special EventsSeveral times each summer, there are large special events organised at the Brossac Lake. The biggest day of the summer is July 13! To celebrate the national indenpendence (really the 14th) Brossac comes to the lake for a fireworks set to music and dance party and grilled meal afterward. In the afternoon, before the party gets going- there is a special day on the mini golf and the afternoon features a family Sand Castle building competition. The local official pick the winners and every participant goes home with a prize!
