Etang Vallier Resort - Clubhouse & Spa

Construction began in spring 2009 on the new Spa and Leisure Centre at Etang Vallier. The private club will have over 1000m² of activities including: wellness centre with an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, fitness room, meditation space and massage and treatment rooms. There is also a squash court, games room and snack bar with a terrace leading out to the beach, minigolf and play areas. The exterior tennis court and petanque pitches should be constructed in 2010 adjacent to the centre. Current opening date is set for the end of 2009 just before the new Year!

The games room and Clubhouse Snack & Bar area and terrasse will be open to everyone. To access the Fitness and Wellness areas, you will need to become a member. Guests staying in any of the accommodation parks of Etang Vallier (La Clairière Chalets, Les Pinedes villas or the Chataigners Camping as well as the Chenes Estate homes) have access through special memberships and clubpacks. Prices will be available and pre-booking will begin approximately 1 month prior to club completion.

Restaurant Bar Quai Sud

Brossac Lake RestaurantThe Quai Sud Restaurant and bar are highlights of the Resort. The restaurant boasts a large terrace with sweeping views of the lake. Sit in the sun or choose the shade of the covered terrace and observe the goings on at the beach and minigolf. Quai Sud operates from April through October every year. The specialties of the house include Ribbs and Tapas. The traditional french menu has a definite cuban/spanish influence. For a flaming end to your evening ask Fabrice or Sandy for a "Cucharacha".

On site activites are all managed by the Resort. Some are directly sponsored by the resort and are open to the public, some are solely for the residents of the accommodation parks, and are sponsored by the owners' association of the accommodation parks. Many are run by numerous local partners- sports clubs, local artists, nature clubs, even the department of the Charente. These partners are part of what ensure your holiday really lets you see France! Some activities are free while others have a participation fee- prices are advertised on the calendar.

Special Events at the Etang Vallier Lakeside Resort

Special EventsSeveral times each summer, there are large special events organised at the Brossac Lake. The biggest day of the summer is July 13! To celebrate the national indenpendence (really the 14th) Brossac comes to the lake for a fireworks set to music and dance party and grilled meal afterward. In the afternoon, before the party gets going- there is a special day on the mini golf and the afternoon features a family Sand Castle building competition. The local officials pick the winners and every participant goes home with a prize!
