La Clairière Wood Chalets Accomodation Park
Adjacent to Etang Vallier Resort is the new park of beautiful new wood chalet accommodation. The park is a new PRL (residential and leisure park). Clearing and construction began at the end of 2007 on this beautiful new area. La Clairière Chalet park sits just above the Brossac Lake in a man made clearing. The spot was chosen as a way of rehabilitating the fallen forest which was heavily damaged in the 1990 storms. The setting is now beautiful again. There are foot paths leading down to the beach just 100 metres away. The access road is a narrow, natural, shady lane traversing a mature wood from the main Resort entrance. The space is very green- though you are only steps away from the beach and Resort complex, and opposite the Pineded Villa Accomodation park, thanks to the trees- you see only a haze of green.
Park Amenities
Each wood chalet has a private parcel of 400m² giving lots of space and leaving plenty of room to enjoy nature. There is a limestone parking for 1 car at each chalet. The chalets all feature a covered terrace and have a limestone pathway leading to the house. The common areas of the park are constantly being refined. The pool is 10mx10mx1.5m deep. The wading pool will be installed soon (4.5m in diametre). The gazebo will be equipped with picnic tables and barbecue so that you can enjoy the company of your fellow campers and should be installed in time for summer 2010. Already completed is the play area, with climbing structure and slide.

This is a new park. There are currently only 4 chalets on site sharing the beautiful amenities. The future outlook for the park is for 40 chalets over the next few years.
Site Activities
The owners of the chalets in the Clairiere Chalet Accomodation park sponsor some of the activities managed by Etang Vallier Resort. So you benefit from all of the activities presented at the resort. Guests and owners of chalets in La Clairière benefit from all the services available to the other resort visitors. The Resort is open all year for full tourist services available in English, and French (some services are available in Dutch). There are organised sports and cultural activities during July and August. The beach area is maintained and the water tested during the summer season. The minigolf is open for family fun! Cleaning services are organised so that you are assured of a clean, well maintained chalet.
